Is this Malzahn's last year at Auburn?

We always recruit well. But we always seem to lose 5 or so games that we shouldn't.

That is not indicative of a good coach.

I liked Malzahn's methods at first, but we could do better.

He seems lost sometimes.

That is not great coaching.

I think he needs more time. Give him ten more years just to be sure.

The whole 3-Quarterback system in sporadic moments all year has been utterly confusing at times.

Why do that at all?

It never worked.

Doubt it. Getting Stidham really boosted Auburn's chances of vast improvement for next season. Defense will be good, offense returns almost everyone, special teams is great.

If Gus finds a way to frick it up next year, he needs to take the Arkansas job when it opens up next year

12-2 in his first year at Auburn, SEC champs, seconds away from being national champs. 23-16 since that time.

I really think we have some retarded fans. We lost 5 games this season and literally 3 of them were the top 3 in the final poll. The only game that we lost and really should have won was the UGA game, they flat out beat us and we should have been a better team.

That is one thing about Malzahn, he wins the easy games and does so handily. This is opposed to Tubbs that would let Samford stay in a 7-3 game into the fourth just because he didn't want to score on them.

Clearly we know the answer to your question already in January. Great thread. Will be sure to archive for future generations.

But I highly doubt we have a bad enough season to warrant firing Malzahn.

Gus is a good Christian family man. He fits in well with the Auburn Family. He lives the Auburn Creed-believes in Auburn and he loves it. Jay Jacobs has seen all of that in him and understands what that means, and no one understands how important the Creed is other than Jay Jacobs.

Can you really though? Just stick with Gus and let's see what happens over the next decade or so.
