got his junk swatted away and of course this had to be a foul. On the replay it was obvious that the defender let the guy go by and chose to eject the much smaller guys shot in flight and hence zero contact with the offensive man (by feet not inches) leading the announcers to ponder aloud "maybe he touched him on this heel"

I see this constantly now. In our game last night, a player drove the lane, the defender was square in front of him, hands up, backpeddling and got called for a foul when the offensive player touched his chest. WTF? Can we not just let those go? I'm 100% sure, if the foul hadn't gone against the defensive player, it would have gone against the offensive player, which is equally stupid. A foul should be a foul, not simply a little bit of contact.
