The Alabama "national" dynasty is over. We've only won 1 national title in the last 4 years. That's fine, it's an insane standard to stay at. 2009-2012 we won 3 national titles in 4 years and since only 1 in 4 years.
However, we are still the elite national program based on past success, and we are in the middle of an SEC dynasty that is only matched by Spurrier's Florida teams in the last 30 years.

I don't know that I'd agree with that even. Most people talk about FSU's "dynasty" when they finished in the top 5 for like 10+ straight seasons. That only included 2 national titles in that stretch. Bama has been the best, most consistent program in college football for the past 9 seasons, including winning 5 SEC titles and 4 national titles. They've been ranked #1 at some point in each of those 9 seasons - a longer streak than any program in history.
I agree this is absolutely an SEC dynasty, but I disagree that the "national" dynasty is over. I would think we'd need to have a couple of seasons of struggle, not make the playoffs a couple of years in a row, not be ranked #1 at some point in the season, finish with less than 10 wins, etc. for that talk to be more than wishful thinking of rival fanbases.
