My dad was saying on FB that you'd think they had forecasted a nuclear war for tomorrow by the crowds at the supermarket.

We're off to a fast start just south of St. Louis. A quick glaze and one dead in a wreck.

It looks like Springfield is getting absolutely hammered. If that's all ice, they're fooked.

Have about a 1/4 inch of ice on my deck. It's supposed to do this well into tomorrow morning.

it rained for like 30 sec and that left a coating of ice on my car. If this moves a little north it could be nasty. It's tracking I-44 right now

Yeah, it looks like St Louis and Southern Missouri are getting the worst of it right now.

Plenty of ice here in St. Charles County with more coming Saturday morning and maybe Sunday. You don't want to be out on the road here. Frig is full, I'm fat and sassy.

Pullin' for BO & Co. to pickup some big commits that should have been six stars. HA.

It's amazing the power of the media. It's early Friday night and no one is out. The roads are empty, the stores are empty. There is no one at wally world but the employees.

and the roads are clean and dry

Well, most of the stores around here are closed and nobody is going to wally world because everyone already went there the day before to stock up for the storm.
