Reputable rumor has it that TG was verbally disparaging and had shown severe disrespect to players NOT the starting D, calling them names in practice, telling them they were "worthless", yelling at them to do something a certain way, then yelling at them again because they did it that "new" way, and this impacted other areas of the team in negative ways. Yelling in this sport is OK if that is your style, it's not a babysitting job but doing so disrespectfully is not OK. Some words and presentation are effective communication, some are not, some instill just the opposite of the desired results.
