Jalen/Tua discussion aside, I'm ready for stability at that position. I feel like that has been a problem. It's silly to say because we've had so much success but it's hard to form an offensive identity when the QB is experiencing things for the first time or is fighting for the job. We had a nice little groove with JPW-GMac-AJ, then we sort of ran out of heir apparents at that position due to a number of factors.

Not saying I want the boring game manager back or that I think the backup should always replace the starter once the starter leaves. I'm just ready for some consistency at the position.

Coker was much maligned but that was crap....he had a lot of experience at this level in the position and a year in Bama's system and it paid a dividend. Inexperienced guys like Sims and Hurts cost us against OSU and Clemson.
