re: Clemson was better boys

In most respects, the Alabama and Clemson teams were pretty equal except for Clemson's obvious advantage at QB.

There were just a few too many execution errors that killed a few of our drives. And, there's always questioning of play calls and adjustments we could've made. As they say, hind sight is 20-20.

All of that said, one thing I just did not get is why we went hurry-up so much. Imo, we should've been using as much clock as possible between snaps, especially after Bo was injured. Such an easy change to make. And if it had been made, we likely would've won.

That loss stings a lot. But, the good news is Bama had a GREAT 14-1 season, even with a true freshman QB. Just 1 play, 1 second, 1 mistake shy of an undeafeated season and National Title. Bama is still THE standard of excellence in CFB and the future is very bright.
