I don't think it's fair say it means absolutely nothing. From a recruiting standpoint, it impacts us. A fair number of GA recruits went to Clemson when they couldn't make it over the hump. Now it will probably be a more popular destination.
There are enough people trying to take talent from the state of Georgia. If Clemson has staying power, it will only hurt our efforts.

If anything it's going to hurt us in the carolinas more than GA. With kirby I'm not concerned in the slightest about our in state recruiting.
But for over a year now we've been in darn good shape for the #1 RB in the '18 class (from NC) plus we had the gurley connection, but now he's gonna give the home state a good hard look.

Agree with this. I really didn't care in terms of just the teams who won last night but from the perspective of impact on our recruiting, it was definitely a net negative that Clemson won.
