If we want the 10 year old whose parents moved from Ohio to be a big UGA fan, we're going to need a national championship. That will seed the crop of in-state recruiting dominance over the next 5-10 years.

At the same time, you can only sign 25.

As long as we are first in line with the local elites, I really don't care what state we get them from as long as we are 3 deep with 4 and 5 stars.

So we only get 13 of the state's top 25, I don't care as long as we are making up that difference by poaching a couple top 25 from FL, a top ten from LA, a top ten from NC, a top ten from CA, etc.

BINGO- this is why I started this thread saying Clemson's MNC is bad for business in Athens. Blow the lid off this thing and we'll get just about every Ga kid we want...regardless of how deep his Ga roots are. Every border has someone selling something UGA does not have (at least in modern terms).
