OU is a national brand, a blue blood, a rich school in a large metropolitan area much nicer then college station. With a better athletic program overall, especially football.

Extremely debatable. There are only 2 public schools in the top 10 in the country in endowment. Both are in Texas.

"Large Metropolitan Areas" are greater than 500,000 people. Norman isn't close. Neither city is that great.

Number of Big 12 Titles before A&M left for the SEC:

Texas A&M - 61 (5 in sports Oklahoma doesn't participate)
Oklahoma - 49 (6 in sports A&M doesn't participate)

It took you 3 years to finally catch us AFTER we left the conference, and 6 of those titles were in gymnastics (which, admittedly there's no excuse for us not participating) and rowing.
