I don't doubt that his agent did a name-drop.
If Sumlin wanted to frick A&M over on the way out, this would be the way to do it though.

This is what I hate about the wacky season. Last year it was "Sumlin trying to find a spot in the NFL" or similar nonsense, based on nothing but messageboard posts, many of which were repeated here in this otherwise sane forum. And now this. I'll be happy to see him go, but he doesn't (as far as I know) deserve to be treated like he's looking to bail out.

If the rumors are just sumlins agent trying to get him a raise or extension again his agent is gonna get a wake up call real fast. We aren't getting fooled twice, if some other school wants him they can have him.
