I talked to his godfather or uncle at ADay after he signed with us and didn't have a clue it was them. They asked me what I thought of him and I told them I had a lot of respect in the way he handled his recruitment. He stayed with Auburn and gave them a fair chance after Chiz was let go and we were hiring a new coach. He was all grins and told me he was a great kid and told me who he was.

Lawson had good people around him that helped him during the process and he handled it very well. He has really handled himself well at Auburn through the injuries too and I wish this guy the best.
