To mark Saban's 10th anniversary, let me get your opinion. We can all agree (I assume) the majority of his Bama career is behind him. Regardless if he coaches another game, he is arguably the GOAT. (In my opinion, he is. What he has done in this era with the regulations he has to work under is unprecendeted.)

So the question: When he retires, what does the University name after him? A street being renamed has to be a given. Bryant Denny is kind of taken. Can't see them kicking Denny or adding Bryant Denny Saban Stadium. What else is there. Seems like most things are named. Denny Chimes. Mal Moore Athletic Facility, etc.

What do you think???

It's widely believed that it will Saban Field in Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Nothing worth arguing about. He is the greatest of all time. If the man wins Monday after booting his OC of three years, six days before the NCG it will be incredible. The man is on another level.

I'm a traditionalist and have been strongly against taking Denny's name off the stadium considering his role in making Alabama Football what it is. However, if Saban were to win another title or two, he's more than worthy of being on the stadium and calling the field Denny Field (which works due to that being the original name of BDS.)Also believe University should be renamed for Saban or call it Denny Blvd if we don't name the field.

In any event, I hope we don't become slaves to Saban's shadow like we did to Bryant.

I think that mentality is what gives the program an unrelenting desire to be dominant. Goes all the way back to Wade.

If you do it the right way. Instead of trying to be the best, we rested on our laurels and tried to hire Bryant disciples and talk about "tradition." Saban showed us that championships won't come just because 'Alabama' is on the jersey or because we play Bryant videos before the game.

If we're being serious and doing it right, the Nick Saban Academic Center for Athletics. Build a building that houses the academic resources for the athletes.

I feel like Saban just woke up and got a little bit pissed off right when you typed those words. But he's not really sure why. Regardless he decided since he was up he'd flip on some film and see about winning it all for the 6th time.

Bryant-Saban-Denny Stadium

Could call it Bryant-Denny-Saban Stadium and still call it BDS for short.

The Denny Field idea sounds good as well.
