In retrospect, why did most us think AU would win the Sugar bowl . . .

Haven't we learned from Gus's track record by now?

Everyone knew they would lose. Just not this bad. LSU should have been there.

I never thought that. I knew OU would roll them.

Who is most of us? I saw very few predictions that were anything but wishful thinking.
I said all along that a healthy White was the key to a close game.

The playoff committee fricked up. LSU clearly was the better team at the end of the season and should have been ranked higher

People that thought they had a chance were probably looking at them finally being healthy. The broken arm killed that.

Because games are won in the trenches and OU struggles in physical match-ups.

I said back in the prediction thread I was leaning towards OU based on QB play and Coaching. Most people in that thread were quite mixed about the results and not many (including myself) were confident on calling that game for one team or the other.

Am I the only one that noticed that Auburn's QB got injured on the first drive, tried to play for awhile, then left the game after the first quarter? Auburn only has one QB, and only had him with a non-broken arm for one drive. We all knew they'd score their points...we just didn't know that Auburn would end up one dimensional and easily defended. Yeah, I know that means Auburn isn't that great.

I h8 Auburn but I was hoping for a win from them. I deal with too many Oklahoma fans who always bring up that Sugar Bowl victory like it was a super bowl win.
