Hurts stats for comparison to Browning:

Hurts vs. Top 40 Defenses Per S&P:

#4 LSU: 10/19 (52.6%), 107 Yards (5.63 YPA), 0 TD/1 INT, 20 rushes, 114 yards, 1 TD

#7 Auburn: 27/36 (75%), 286 yards (7.94 YPA), 2TD/2 INT, 12 rushes, 37 yards, 1 TD

#8 Florida: 11/20 (55&), 138 yards (6.9 YPA), 1 TD/0 INT, 8 rushes, 1 yard

#13 USC: 6/11 (54.5%), 118 yards (10.7 YPA), 2 TD/1 INT, 9 rushes, 32 yards, 2 TD

#35 WKU: 23/36 (63.9%), 287 yards (7.97 YPA), 2 TD/0 INT, 11 rushes, 19 yards

#37 ATM: 15/25 (60%), 164 yards (6.56 YPA), 2 TD/2 INT, 21 rushes, 93 yards, 1 TD

Total: 92/147 (62.5%), 1100 yards (183 YPG, 7.48 YPA), 9 TDs /6 INTs, 296 yards rushing (49.3 YPG), 5 TDs

EVERY OTHER GAME: 128/190 (67.3%), 1492 yards (213 YPG, 7.85 YPA), 13 TD/ 3 INT, 545 yards (78 YPG), 7 TDs

A dropoff for sure, but not terrible. 30 less yards per game throwing, 30 less yards rushing, and more INTs.

It is interesting that Hurts is as effective as Browning vs. good defenses though.

Good stuff. Washington's offensive numbers as a whole are very pedestrian vs those 4 defenses.

I think the biggest key is turnovers. If we commit them, they'll have a shot. If not, I feel pretty good.
