I have nothing against tradition. But the SEC passed this rule against artificial noise makers at league games & gave one exception: to Moo State. With the provision that the bells would not be rung during play; with another provision that the refs would call a penalty. Neither has happened & the bells ring all the time now. But that's one issue: the issue that will keep me & my family from returning to Starkville is that my family & I, along with 3 other couples, all wearing LSU clothes, were followed as we continuously moved around to avoid any trouble & were harassed by having the bells rung right behind our heads. All game long. The marshals laughed at us.

Would a piss balloon to the head make you feel more at home?

The bells do not ring when the center puts his hand over the ball. The rule is when the center puts his hand over the ball the bells must stop until the ball is snapped. This does happen. I know because I went to every home game last year.

If we broke that rule MSU would get fined like they did in the early days of the rule. MSU has not been fined in years because of how well the fans have done. They do a good job of following the rules much to y'alls dismay and disbelief.
