Scout Takes a Look at Some of the Top Regional Storylines Heading in to the Under Armour Game (Scout)

DeAngelo Gibbs will enter the Under Armour All-America game week uncommitted and enrolling at a school just a week after the game. Gibbs only took three official visits — Alabama, Auburn and Georgia. Auburn appears to be on the outside looking in, and Tennessee, a school at one time considered a favorite has faded, and it appears to be down to Alabama and Georgia. The Crimson Tide have made a big push, so can they steal him out of Georgia's backyard? He never gives anything away in interviews, he has kept some guessing, so when his announcement on January 1, 2017 is the biggest storyline out of the South.

What happens with five-star offensive tackle Calvin Ashley, who committed to Auburn in May when he was at Orlando Dr. Philips, but now is at Washington (D.C.) St. John's and giving Maryland a very hard look? Ashley has a pair of teammates committed to Maryland, he is really listening the Terps' pitch of the DMV (D.C, Maryland, Virginia) to Maryland in keeping the talent home. There are three Auburn commits in the game, and each will have a chance to grab Ashley's ear and make sure he is solid with the Tigers.

Scout's No. 1 rated defensive tackle Marvin Wilson is set to announce his top five at some point during the week and there has already been some speculation about who is and who is not going to be on that final cut list. Wilson has already taken official visits to see schools like Florida State, Ohio State and Oklahoma. He only has two official visits remaining that he can use in January in front of a National Signing Day decision on February 1. Who will be in and who will be out? Stay tuned.
