Honestly, I use a bit of GIMP and a bit of the preview app on macbooks.

Preview has a smart lasso that can get you pretty close. Then I clean up in GIMP, where I zoom down and cut/erase edges.

In this particular case, I did it really quick. Honestly, I'm just learning myself.


ETA: I've never used PS but I should. :\ GIMP sucks. IMO.

memphisplaya started me out with with GIMP a few years back because he was tired of me asking him to do shite

Then he eventually passed on a copy of photoshop to me, which I immediately lost. Don't really know how I got to Pixlr, but I got tired of going to different programs for certain things. I got this copy of photoshop from my ex(which is probably the only good thing she did for me this year).

I think both GIMP and Pixlr do skim a lot of features from Photoshop, so the bare basics were easy enough.

Of what I've seen from you, good stuff
