We had a total 5 seniors in the two deep. Played without 2 of them pretty much all year long while 3rd was dismissed early on. That left only Dobbs and Corey Vereen for meaningful senior contributors. Our experience mostly came from a ton of juniors and sophomores with game experience - some like Barnett and Malone (both juniors) who've either started or been major contributors from day one.

Not counting the seniors, the injuries we suffered across the board dramatically changed what should've been a very experienced team to one that was forced to start far too many with no meaningful experience (the two deep wasn't any better either as we were injury ravished there too).

IOW, the stats are a bit misleading for us as most assume that meant upperclassmen but we did have experience to start the year.

ETA: Of note: Derek Barnett was the ONLY starter on defense that didn't miss significant PT.
