People in the South want to be outside.

People in the North want to be inside.

There are only two schools in the SEC that compete at a fairly high level in all 3 major collegiate sports(UFla & LSU). Maybe one could include TAMU. Should be more.

Tat is one one of the lamest excuses on this thread. There was a time for about 20 years where SEC basketball was up there with the Big 10's, Big East's and ACC and then sometime in the late 1990's people stopped caring at most of the SEC schools.

I can remember when EVERY SEC game was an event at the PMAC and most of those games were must see TV when it was on. It has a lot to do with the growth internationally of basketball, the one and done and changes in how the games are called from an officiating standpoint .

Also, name me a prolific college scorer at a big school that stays for more than 2 years?
