I worked at a CBS Affiliate for a couple NCAA tournaments. It's a big deal. I think people don't realize that the gap between college football and college basketball is getting smaller. Regular Season College Basketball still has ways to go, but the postseason draws huge numbers.

I don't think regular season CBB will ever catch up because the games just aren't very important in the regular season for the good teams because so many teams make the tournament
