1. UK
2. South Carolina
3. Arkansas
4. Florida
5. Texas A&M
I think it's very easy to say the top 5 teams are far and away the best in conference this year and should all make the tourney.
Next group
6. Ole Miss
7. UGA
8. Auburn
9. MSU
10. LSU
11. Alabama
drop off
12. Tennessee
13. Mizzou
14. Vandy

Hope Alabama regroups and wins all of their games until the SEC Tourney

TOP 5:
I agree with the members of this group but I don't see UF being that low imo.
Also Mizzou has to be #14 because Jesus wants them to be worst in all big 3 sports this year.

Arkansas has some very good talent this year but MA's tendency for his teams to collapse on the road concerns me.
A mediocre conference record for SEC women's basketball gets you a ticket to the Big Dance and probably a respectable ranking. The same for men's basketball lands you on the bubble at best and likely in the NIT. There isn't a lot of margin for error.

I think only 3 teams make the tournament
UK
USCe
UF
Ark I will include if they decide they can win road games this year. Side note - smart move by Mike Anderson in a year which he's probably coaching for his job to get 10/12 OOC games in Ark this season.

We seem really young right now so I think we can win games we shouldn't and lose ones we should.
Won't win the SEC, but maybe be thorns in the sides of those who might.

Tennessee is very young but have played the top teams tough. Had a second half lead against #16 Wisconsin, took #13 Oregon to OT (both in Maui)and had the lead at #7 North Carolina with 2 minutes left. They get another shot against a ranked team against Gonzaga on Sunday. They may very well finish toward the bottom of the standings, but they will be no easy out for anybody other than Kentucky.

Agreed, the number of teams that will make the tourney from the SEC seems to be shrinking. It is important that each SEC team finishes out the OOC strong and the teams do well in the SEC vs Big 12 challenge.

It isn't a big deal, but you're way off about the Vols. They have a good - if not great - freshman class, and along with a good senior in Hubbs, they will be middle of the pack.

All I know is that LSU looks terrible.
