Something to consider is the fact that when he went to the dolphins he really didn't have the same reputation that he has now. He was just another college coach with a BCS ring trying to jump into the pros. Now everybody in the NFL knows about the process and that it works. Saban isn't just another coach peddling a dumb motivation technique, he's a known commodity, almost a living legend. Even professional players with a chip on their shoulder would listen to him now.

I'm just glad he doesn't give a damn about trying to prove a bunch of message board morons wrong.
