I suppose it has something to do with neither school wanting to play the third best football school in Alabama. There is no benefit to doing so.
However, I wish that both teams played Troy every year mainly because it would be a fun arse tailgate, as I have many friends that went to Troy.

Yeah. All nine Troy fans put LSU fans to shame when it comes to tailgating.
