Howard Schnellenberger won three national championships and recruited Joe Namath and Kenny Stabler to Alabama. Lane still has a long way to go to catch up to Schnelly.

and started the Miami dynasty. Coached a Louisville team that put a beat down on Bama as well.
Lane has done an undeniably good job, but we all know Saban and the defensive side of the ball is the main reason for the Championships.
