They lost to James madison. The argument is that the teams they beat are not good and that is how they got 12 wins.
Saying they lost to a 12-1 James Madison does not help prove that they beat any good teams, it just helps prove that almost all of their wins are against garbage teams.

Here is the quote to which i was responding:
If the quote was they did not beat any good teams, i would not have responded. I don't want Longo either, but let's at least be honest in our criticism. Plenty of valid reasons why the guy is not impressive for OC of an SEC team.
