I don't think LSU intended for us to get involved.
We know that Joe eventually gave Chavis a counter-offer without the Les Clause so it isn't like LSU ran him off.
We just got played because we wanted a solution that wasn't all out firing Sumlin. Turns out such a solution didn't exist.
