Wow ... just wow.
Didn't see that coming.
The guy appears to be a good coach though - we interviewed him last year.
So an interim coach will be coaching against us in the bowl and it'll basically be an interview, resume builder, for him ... his job may be on the line. So don't expect this to be an advantage for us really. Look at it kinda like when Elliott took over last year - the kids tried to rally behind him because they felt betrayed and abandoned to some degree ... so that's kinda how this will go down on the 29th.
Taggart definitely has to hit the ground recruiting. And Oregon probably hired him to go after the Florida and Southeastern US talent where they have always wanted to get-into and with Nike they've got the brand draw to maybe pull some kids up to Oregon.
Sure would have never guessed they would hire Taggart. Almost seems like a desperation move of sorts.

Maybe we can give them Elliott...he has HC experience
