re: wonder how Saban would do at a lesser School

Interesting thread. I think if Saban would have gone to MS State, Vandy or Missouri, I do not think that he would have created the dynasty that he has in Tuscaloosa. The would have been good because of his process and the way he handles the program as a business, but that doesn't make up for the intangibles needed to win championships.

It all has to do with History, Tradition, Fanbase, Facilities, Campus and of course the all-mighty dollar.

I do however think he would have created a dynasty had he gone to the likes of Florida, LSU, Auburn, Ole Miss ect. They all have the intangibles, and are always a step or two away from greatness (theoretically).
