You probably would have won a national championship or two. He was pretty damned innovative on the offensive end. I will bet that he was not the first Bama...or for that matter SEC coach who was having fun with women other than his wife...Bear was known for liking the women. He got caught and like a dumbass was using the Alabama credit card.

Because of what happened with him, I tend to give Mike Shula something of a pass. No one wanted the job given what was coming at Bama at the time.

I will say this, if Price does not get busted, Nick Saban is coaching somewhere possibly out west today.
