If this happens it will be a travesty. Not one, but two teams that did not win their conference in the playoffs? How do you leave a team out of the playoffs because their conference does not have a championship game, if you are going to put two teams in the playoffs that did not play in their conference championship game?

BCS had a provision for it. Was the only way three teams from one conference could get selected. Had your dawgs beaten LSU in the SECCG in 2011, Bama and LSU would have played in the BCSNCG as non-champions and UGA would have gone to the Sugar Bowl.

Bama was in at 11-1 and they sure as hell weren't going to leave the 12-1 winner of Bama-LSU out when they had the 11-1 loser of Bama-LSU in.

"No more than two teams from a conference may be selected, regardless of whether they are automatic qualifiers or at-large selections, unless two non-champions from the same conference are ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the final BCS Standings."

All fine and good, but Michigan is not ranked either #1 or #2 in their conference, and it wouldn't surprise me if they are picked.....simply because of Jim Harbaugh.
I don't get the Harbaugh love. Is he good? Yes. But he has never even won his conference. Not in the Big 10 and not in the PAC at Stanford.
