OSU and Bama are in. Washington is in.

Clemson is in if they win. Otherwise the big 10 champ gets a shot.

True, or maybe Michigan.

If Bama and Clemson win tomorrow, the top four will most likely be exactly the same as it is now.

If Clemson loses, a 2nd B1G team is likely #4; could be PSU, Wisc or Mich -- if PSU wins, PSU is likely #4; if Wisc wins, Wisc or Mich could be #4.

Not so fast. If Clemson wins then they're in.

1. Bama
2. Ohio State
3. Clemson
4. Washington or Penn State

The playoff committee has to be rooting for VATech. , this really cleans up the decision.

Bama vs PSU/Wisky - in Atlanta huge draw
tOSU vs uDub - in Az even bigger draw

Mich - 2 loss non champ
B12- 13 data point , 2 loss champ maybe next year
ACC- champ more than 2 losses, Clemson 2 loss non champ

8 team playoff people- see told ya it work with 4

No way OSU is in if Penn State wins the B1G.

OP is correct. Clemson will beat VT by 30. Playoff committee will avoid having to do anything controversial.

I won't believe tOSU until I see it. 2011 Bama is the reason there is no longer a BCS. Do they want 2016 tOSU to be the reason there is no longer a CFP committee? Don't think so. Of course it could be that if 2011 Bama had been tOSU there would still be a BCS.

If Clemson struggles with VT, I look for Washington to go to #3 and CU drop to #4. For a couple of reasons. Would prevent the possibility of an undesired NCG rematch. Would give the Peach Bowl the much desired SEC/ACC match up and give the Fiesta Bowl the much desired Big 10/Pac 12 match up.

I think Clemson has an unimpressive win vs. VT and Washington leaps Clemson and gets the #3 spot.

Call me crazy, but I think Washington beats Ohio State and plays Bama for the natty

I dont know if OSU makes the playoff. They don't deserve to make the playoff as its setup now without some big upsets.

If Clemson and Penn State win convincingly, they will both have just as strong of a case. They could both be in over Ohio State.

If Big 10 champ is left out - then there is an argument that the conference champ games should be eliminated. What is the value?
