Would you like for me to name 20 guys you probably never heard of who played in all star games?

Those are popularity contests for the most part.

The only Stat Bo even came close to being #1 at in baseball was strikeouts. Not a Stat you want to have as your only claim to fame unless you're a pitcher.

Both made a few great plays in the pros, but only a few. Hence the "What if" title that is all you have when you point to his pro achievements.

Yet another area that gets overlooked with Herschel is that he spent the PRIME of his professional career in the USFL, whose stats don't even really count. It's not fair to him that people think he sucked in the pros when much of his best ball was in a defunct league. If you add all his "professional" accolades together herschel had over 3500 more APY than walter payton.
