Purdue has a good engineering program. Easier for Butch to lay those bricks

The pressure. There are lots of coaches who don't want the grind of a powerful program.

The Bill curry analogy is spot on and good for them. I personally wouldn't want a job the encompassed my life, was talked about every day and had millions of people critiquing my every move.

I don't think we realize what a bitch of a job it is. The money makes it great but nerves are nerves and it has to wear on you after a while.

Besides, you can coach friggin troy now and make a mill and half or better a year. To make any money you used to have to coach big time. I could be wrong but somebody like usf is paying their coach 3 mill or some bullshite?

If there is any truth to this, he was told by people within Tennessee to start looking.

He is on the hot seat and will be lucky if he isn't fired in the next 2 years . He gets a fresh start at a program with very little pressure to win.
