I don't think he does, personally. He builds tough, grinding teams that make you work for the win (usually, anyway.) His problem really is talent. Arkansas is not a hotbed of D1 talent, and they're surrounded by programs that recruit well. I hate to say this, because I think Bret is better, but Petrino might have been the best fit for them because his offenses require a lot less talent to run. The less said about his defenses, the better, because he gutted Arkansas' defensive talent pool, but that's the trade-off.

The problem with Bert is that he tends to be a very complacent coach. We win great. We lose he starts coaching. Then he takes the next week off.

Bert does not seem to have the drive to win in the SEC.

He bitches about HUNU and player safety yet he gets his own players killed because he uses them like pack mules. He is a bitch and an anchor around the neck of the program.

Perhaps, though it seems a bit too much armchair psychiatry for my tastes. How would this manifest? Not strategizing in the week prior? Not bothering to adjust during games? Playing Candy Crush while the players wait for the inspirational speech? Complacency is a real issue in the long-term, obviously. I'd just have to have some solid examples of how it manifests week-to-week.
