Forget Pettaway for a second, will Jalen Hurts derp his way through a game like he did against an FCS school last week? Auburn has a very good defense, on par with LSU's I'd say. And I fully expect Bama to start slow with the SEC West wrapped up and Auburn has nothing to lose.

I do think the game plan against Chattanooga was very vanilla to let him work on things. They knew they could run up the middle when they wanted. With balanced play calling Hurts is dangerous. He's not going to sit in the pocket and beat you with his arm all day.

I think he'll have a good day but probably turn the ball over at least once. He's a big play waiting to happen but also a turnover waiting to happen.

I think it will be the Bama front 7 doing the heavy lifting regardless. Auburn needs to avoid turnovers and run the ball at least effectively to have a shot. Chattanooga was outmanned but did some really clever things on some of there quick hitting screens to slow the pass rush down. It will be interesting to see if Auburn does a bit of that.

I'll honestly be surprised if Auburn wins but they've impressed me a lot this year.
