The problem I see is they are so fricked right now on recruiting and talent that even Nick Saban might struggle there the next couple seasons.
I don't really think he will benefit much reputation wise by taking that position.

They likely don't have the talent to win the B12, but Briles left a lot of talent on campus.
It will get ugly in 2018/2019 if they don't turn around 2017 recruiting
