Southern University, the SWAC team here in Baton Rouge, played a Christian league team from Arkansas a couple of years ago. Southern is D-1 while the other team's association is some affiliation below NAIA. Southern led 44-0 before the other team finally made a free throw. Final score was like 116-12. ESPN was all over it bashing Southern (yes, Southern) for scheduling such a shitty opponent.
