This may get massively down voted but... how can we say they are defending our freedoms when they are serving in the Middle East? They aren't defending our soil as much as being utalized by our government for power.

What is your opinion? What of our freedom is in Iraq?

Would you rather fight ISIS in Mosul and Fallaujah or say, Fayetteville and Memphis?

Should have asked why we went to Iraq in the first place.

You bring up an interesting question, it is too bad that you won't get any real discourse here.

Edit: It doesn't make sense to blame veterans for this, but should make you highly critical of those who sent them there

Men and women in our military go where they are sent. Whether thats into harms way or to Minot north Dakota. They are dedicated to protecting the freedoms we have regardless.

And it should. Mostly because you're an a-hole, but also because you made a snide fricking post behind the veil of the internet about a group of people that could beat the frick out of you.

The same way we can tell a 92A, 92G, 36B, 73C, and 42R that they are defending our freedoms.

They aren't defending our soil as much as being utalized by our government for power.

So what? The military acts on your behalf per the orders of people that you elect. They do so at considerable risk to their own lives, for very little pay.

What is your opinion?

My opinion is that you're a douchebag.

The freedom for you to shut the frick up, pussy.

Location Location Location

Hear ye, Hippie- The world waxes and wanes. Nothing ever stays the same. Having the most mobile Military is what makes our country the strongest. You can't just hole up and hope others don't try to frick you, because that's all EVERYONE wants to do.

Think of the war on radical Islam as the outside fence.

We are the leaders of the free world and we attempt to defend the free world from oppression wherever they are. Especially if the people are looking to become free.

Plus I thought ISIS was beheading Americans abroad.

I'm just gonna give you the short and sweet version:

Wars are fought for the following reasons: resources and the power and wealth obtained by controlling them.

Period. End of discussion.

The soldier(veteran) is but a lowly pawn in a game played by the elites. Direct your agnst towards the people that put them there...not the veteran.

If you received a degree from A&M, please turn in your ring and diploma. With your level of intelligence, there is no way you earned it in a legit manner.

Please tell me you majored in sociology. PLEASE.

What is your feeling about the US in WW2 Europe? No German bombs ever dropped on US soil, so what was the big deal with celebrating those American soldiers?

Or WW1, for that matter?

Most Veterans join their military branches because for whatever reason they feel an obligation to do their duty. They don't join to become a killer or to be killed. Once inducted a lot of them become one or the other, some both. Either way they pay a terrible price. They don't volunteer to go to Iraq, they are ordered to go. They follow orders with the same sense of duty that compelled them to join. They don't ask for anything from you but respect. They do it for the right reasons even when our politicians are motivated for less noble reasons. You need to walk a mile in combat boots before you ask anyone how they see a vet. What have you done for the rest of us.

If you don't like where the troops are being sent, take it up with an elected official. Everyone takes an oath to follow the orders of the President and the officers appointed over them. Anyone that joins the military in these times does so knowing they are going probably put ordnance on target. I hold the young men and women that do so in high regard.

You can't. Veterans are people who served and are out. The people you're talking about are active service members. Since you don't even know enough about it to talk shite about the right group of people, I'll just assume that your significant other held some soldier's dick in her mouth and you just found out about it. I'd disapprove of the soldier's actions but in this case....I hope I was that soldier.
