Where did Ole Miss say that?
Posted on 11/10/16 at 4:22 pm to TampaReb
Everywhere. It's time to understand your program is going back to crap.

going to get the SMU type of hammer.

No it's not. And has been a huge distraction for them.

NCAA don't do death penalty any more. What you will get is a slow "grind" of agony. They will drag this out so you wish they would shut you down.
It's only just the beginning.

HOW ABOUT A SPOILER ALERT! DAMMMIT MAN!

Exactly, the fact their recruiting hasn't dropped off will keep it dragging on, mainly because their methods keep the investigation on going, but the ncaaa won't quit until the program has to hit the reset button similar to sc who did very little compared to om.
The dick of the NCAA is long and they will not let up until om feels every inch.

Just curious. How many FCS teams have received the "Death Penalty?" Really a Bama fan starting a thread about rules violations in a league that is based upon rules violations. You people are rich.

SMU in football and Kentucky in basketball are the only ones.

I said "FCS" not "FBS"

Soooooooo... ole miss is still gonna get bent over and raped by the ncaa for cheating? This is old news and everybody knows it is going to happen. At least ole miss got some championships to show for their future agony...wait, nevermind.

Your point with fcs is?
Death penalty is something that is used only in this division (FBS) because of corruption.
Posted on 11/10/16 at 8:05 pm to 25mellon
It's only been used when teams where caught systematically cheating, and then continued to do so.
SMU's boosters chose to honor their word and continue paying players as ageed after sanctions were handed down for paying those players.
OM better hope their recruiting strategy changed after being caught the first time.

Thank you for responding but it still does not answer my original question. I would guess that the FCS has never seen the "Death Penalty". I would think that they have established rules that are thoroughly enforced. Perhaps.
