That'd be pretty much the dream finish to our class.

The Alabama and LSU classes have Dylan Moses, Devonta Smith, Todd Harris and Chris Allen in both of them.

Someone's gonna be wrong.

I think if O is retained, we get them minus Smith. If he isn't I think Bama stands to land them all.

Why would Moses flip to LSU because of O?

Moses has wanted to come to LSU for a very long time, with the coaching uncertainty he locked up a spot at Alabama and is waiting to see the move we make. Remember when he was "done with recruiting" after he committed to Alabama? Then the very next week made another visit to Baton Rouge. You're talking about a kid who has probably made 20 some visits to LSU's campus in the last 4 years. It's no secret he wants to come here, but unless it's for a coach he likes/wants to play for, he wont do it. Coach O would absolutely lock him up IMO if he's retained. It's been hinted at by our mods more than once too. Coach O is an elite recruiter and has a nice established relationship with Moses.

Plus, there's a huge opportunity to Moses to start from Day 1 here as we lose both our starting ILBs after this season.

Bama loses both of their starting outside backers too.

I really hope LSU hires O.

If O stays he will pull Smith as well.

If O stays should everyone else just concede all recruits and championships until he retires? I don't see the point in trying if O will be there.

Coach O is like a combination of Knute Rockne and Barry Switzer, with a touch of Bill Synder.

Didn't realize Tennessee had so many commits out of Louisiana

Why are you acting like that O may not be the greatest coach of all time, but the one thing he can do is recruit and Devonta Smith has been coming around since he's been here

Because in addition to Smith, you are saying Coach O alone would win the head to head battle with Bama for each recruit listed above.

I've learned my lesson trying to put a stop to the runaway LSU optimism this week, so I am bowing out of this one.

When did I say this?

Eta: the recruits the others said we pull are all from Louisiana, so of course it's reasonable people think we can pull them all.

I'm ok with Lsu getting Mcmath If we get Guidry. But if not I want McMath. He's a stud.

I think it helps our case because that probably means Corey Raymond is still our db coach. He and O are Moses' recruiters.
