Damn you Les.

Les didn't have the luxury of being judged by his performance against Missouri, Southern Miss, and 3-5 Ole Miss. He was fired for losing narrowly on the road to two teams that will be ranked #8 and #9 when the initial CFPO rankings come out tonight.

Does anyone actually think LSU's record would be any different right now had Les been able to stay on?

Not sure why LSU fans think there has been vast improvement with Coach O calling the plays... your opponents have just been exponentially easier since he was canned.

We'd 100% be undefeated in my mind. We are more talented and more experienced than both Wisconsin and Auburn.

Did you watch either of those games? The offensive gameplan and overall team energy was historically bad and we still almost won both in the last minute.

Logically, one could assume since we have improved dramatically that we would win two games we lost in the final minute.

Hell, even Les would've beaten Wisconsin if Etling played.

Ok people are just trying to be stupid now, I get it. Auburn is the only team that can improve I guess.
If you don't see the difference in this LSU team now I can't help you or anyone else.
Miles would have another loss today, simple. What the odds makers are seeing is LSU is starting to play
to the level they expected at the start of the season, that's why LSU was preseason ranked in the top 5.
LSU has a very good Defense, and the offense is starting to look like they can move a football. Sure we played some bad teams, but LSU played like a very good team, doing what they were supposed to do. Les would have made all those games closer, and to be honest would have lost to Ole Miss in a close game.
All that means shite if LSU can't beat Bama, and I think we all know that will be a tough task.

Ole Miss definitely could have been a loss with Miles as LSU's coach. They drilled us last year and LSU was notorious for extremely slow starts with Miles. LSU played flat as a pancake in every game that Miles coached this year. LSU beat State 23-20. Kentucky scored 40 on State and Samford scored 41 on them. LSU's highest point total on offense with Miles was 34 against Jacksonville St. Their lowest point total under O has been 38 against Ole Miss last week.

O is not some genius, but our team has looked way better since the coaching change. Our defense is even giving up 4 points less per game since O took over.
