Kamara was more efficient with less carries and has been more efficient with much more usage when Hurd was out.
Third string back John Kelly has been far more effective than Hurd this season as well. Hurd had 8 carries for 16 yards against SCe Saturday. Kelly, in the same offense running against the same defense, had 14 for 94.

What does any of that have to do with last year? Having a higher YPC does not = better
