Yesterday was the first game I've been to this year and it was clear to me that Eason's inaccuracy/poor footwork is due to nearly immediate penetration of our offensive line. We often do have receivers open down field (yesterday I saw Ridley wide open on 2 separate occasions down field but Eason was too busy running for his life to see him and make an accurate throw). Sometimes Eason simply doesn't see them, but 70% of the time he is getting pressure and doesn't have time to make the play. I was amazed yesterday that he did not turn the ball over.

But honestly most of our problems on offense and defense relate back to our OL play. When the offense struggles to get first downs obviously you aren't scoring enough but we are also wearing out the defense because they are on the field so often.
