Wrong.

He recruited pretty well. And he still got WORSE every year. His third and final year he went 0-8 in the SEC and Houston fricking Nutt took that same team the next year and won the Cotton Bowl.

You mean take teams with coordinators and players already in place from the previous head coach, a big talent advantage, and win games the teams were supposed to?

There are lots of successful interim head coaches who do the same thing and suck as full time program managers.
