Number of regular season SEC games played against AP Top 25 teams since 1992:

100- Arkansas
92- LSU
90- Auburn
90- Vanderbilt
88- Ole Miss
87- Alabama
84- Kentucky
84- Tennessee
83- Miss St.
82- South Carolina
77- Florida
76- Georgia

Tennessee's conference schedule is not uniquely difficult. I'm not sure why they are whining about it.

Secondly, if you were losing to Alabama each year by 7 points, you might have an argument. But if you are losing each year by 30 points, you're program is not at a level in which you can expect to win SEC Championships. Playing Alabama is not your problem. Being Tennessee is your problem.

Auburn has one of the toughest schedules in the nation every other year with the swing of having Bama and UGA both on the road in the same season now. It is what it is.

UT has one hard year and cries like bitches about it.

Tennessee's problem is at the top. They have had shitty leaders for quite a while. When you think Doug Dickey is a bright guy, you are in trouble.

Don't know why they whine about it. They get to finish their schedule vs Mizzou, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt.

Or is that why they're whining?

I'm not sure who the frick is whining, but the conversation started with the thought of UT going undefeated in the East and still not winning the division.
The conversation started when we all thought LSU sucked and Florida playing a relatively weak West slate. But they are going to beat Florida so it's a pointless argument.

You gotta love how a single message board user who doesn't even post on this website suddenly becomes representative of the entire fanbase.

I'm a little surprised Auburn doesn't lead this list. In the first 10 years of divisional play, when we had two permanent cross-divisional opponents, Auburn and Florida were the only teams that had two big-six teams as their permanent opponents from the other division. LSU was terrible for most of that time and the East was pretty bleak other than UF, UT and UGa, so it makes sense that Florida wouldn't be at the top, but I would have guessed that Auburn would have played more games against ranked opponents than the rest of us. Of course, I guess Georgia wasn't really all that good during that span either, so maybe that's why Auburn doesn't have more.

When I first saw the schedule for this year, my reaction was "oh crap." Then I realized it wasn't that bad and should get us to Atlanta if everything went okay.

If had had Bammer and TAMU, UF and then UGA, it would defiintely been a big -"YIKES!"

It's gone according to plan. UF losing another game should be a given and UGA shouldn't be a problem.

We've had schedules worse than this one.
