Kind of like Birmingham. Used to be overwhelmingly Bama

Auburn has been improving business programs and medical type (pre-med/nursing) programs. Given the type of jobs in Birmingham, it isn't surprising to see a larger influx

Also, it wasn't like pre Saban there was a consistent Alabama draw. The fantacism waned for a couple decades after Bear

I've been in Birmingham since 2000 and it's been about 50/50 Bama/Auburn since then from my perspective.

The odd thing is that in my circle of friends, I'd say 90% are Auburn fans. All of my friends from my Bama days live elsewhere.

Yeah during Bryant's heyday it was a Bama town....after Bryant passed, AU kind of flipped the script somewhat.......Bama is more popular these days because Saban.....But Birmingham is pretty much like any other major metro area in the country.... It's a diverse city.
