Etling doesn't impress me. If Ole Miss was able to get to him and cause some turnovers just wait until he faces his first NFL D-line.
It's a good matchup. LF7 will have some redemption compared to last year because your offense is bucking tendencies and going to pass more, the problem is that's going to play into Bama's strength with a much improved pass rush.
Everyone acts like Les Miles was this moron that kept a talented team from winning on purpose. Be careful what you wish for you might see Etling throw 2 ints, and have a strip sack for a TD. Now that you've abandoned the ultra conservative game plan we will too. Bama loses to good mobile QBs who have big days, and Etling doesn't check any of those boxes.
You'll slow our offense down but it won't matter your offense is going to play to our new strengths.
