The only thing I fault Dan for is hiring Sirmon at DC. We all knew offense was going to struggle this year, but we we're counting on the defense to keep us in games. The defense is now the reason we're losing games. That's unacceptable given the amount of talent and depth we have on defense. Peter Sirmon has been a massive, massive failure. That being said, Sirmon is just in over his head, that stuff is hard to determine in the hiring process. I still support Mullen 100%. Dogs will get better.

True. I think Mullen hired Sirmon because it was his only choice. Dan's constant meddling in the defense, and then throwing them under the bus hasn't helped.

State fans are just that "fans". They dont understand anything about running a program but they are quick to blame the coaches. Mullen is the best football hire in the history of the university. He brought them to a #1 ranking. He developed a quarterback that nobody wanted as a qb. If it wasnt for Dan, Dak wouldnt be the starting qb for the cowboys. I swear ppl having short term memory. Yes, we are Mississippi State. A team with a bad history that has the lowest revenue in conference. State will never be a great program. We are going to a bottom feeder with a winning season every once in awhile. Thats who we are
