. There is enough to sell at UGA that we don't necessarily need somebody who is an absolute slimeball, snake oil salesman, handing out free cars to get good players here.

Ok, so what are you going to sell at UGA?

Say the final 3 for a 5* guard from Atlanta are UK, UGA, and Duke.

What do you sell him on?

When fox was first at UGA nothing but staying home. Now you have graduation rates, post season opportunities, big games, and pro prospects either overseas or abroad.
The situation is much improved and Fox should be able to recruit better and he is.

don't be a moron. That's like asking if the final 3 for a 5* football recruit in las cruces are NMSU, Bama, and Ohio State waht should they sell him on?

We aren't going to get those kids, period. And we never have. Harrick won without great recruiting, he won because he was an absolutely elite Xs and Os coach. Fox could damn sure recruit better considering the talent in state but he hasn't recruited BAD. He's simply an awful in game coach.

Are you saying its impossible for us to win out in that situation? Alabama has a top 10 national recruit from Georgia in their class this year, Auburn went out and got 2 5 stars in last year's class, and neither of those schools are anywhere close to being traditional basketball powers but made big coaching hires recently. FFS, even Western Kentucky has a 5 star top 10 player committed. The right coach can find a way to sell an inferior program.
